This girl is such a gem, inside and out! She is graduating from Sam Houston State University with a political science degree this month. We spent our time photographing in downtown Huntsville and Eastham-Thomason Park. We were crossing our fingers for bluebonnets growing at the park (how gorgeous would they have been with her dress?!), but unfortunately, we were still a little too early for the flowers.

Thank you so much, Ashlee, for choosing me to photograph this exciting time in your life. Amazing opportunities are in your future! Congratulations, gorgeous!

You know what’s really awesome about being a photographer? That you get to see the same clients again and they turn into such wonderful friends! It has been a true honor to have photographed all three of the Keahey sisters at one point in time. I love that they trust me to capture the special moments in their lives. These girls and their parents are such wonderful folks!

I met Lindsay and Alex super early at Safari Texas Ranch in Richmond. We spent the session exploring the different locations around the ranch and attempted to photograph the elusive peacocks that roamed the property. Alex may or may not have made the perfect peacock call, which lured one out to photograph, haha! Poor Lindsay had to spend the time in between shots with a heavy jacket because it was SO COLD. Who would have thought that March in Texas would be that chilly? I don’t think they minded the extra cuddles though, haha. These two are so genuinely giddy and glowing around each other. It makes a photographer’s job easy to photograph such love!

Thank you, Alex and Lindsay for choosing me! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in June!

Brian and I had a great time hanging out with our friends in Victoria, TX. We spent the afternoon checking out the zoo and playing around in the park. It’s hard to believe that Arwen is already 3 years old- I know it’s even more surreal for her mom! haha

We love your family! Arwen is growing to be such a brave, happy, and kind little girl! Her grins are contagious <3

A couple of my favorites from the zoo <3

Zachary and Catherine married at The Oaks at Boerne, and it has to be one of my favorite wedding venues ever! Under the stunning canopy of hundreds of magnificent oak trees, Zac and Cat said I do with their friends and family by their side. The rustic details and abundance of natural light make this place a photographer’s dream!

Thanks so much to Savannah Dunn with Safira Studio for allowing me to second shoot with you!

Christy and Brenton had the most perfect fairy tale wedding at Castle Avalon in New Braunfels! They decorated with nods to Beauty and the Beast by using red roses, dark blue sequined table cloths, gold candelabras, and pale yellow bridesmaid dresses. (FYI- Christy’s matron of honor made her bouquet and veil! How talented is she?!) Christy and Brenton were surrounded by such a funny and helpful wedding party- I’ve never laughed so much while photographing the guys! My favorite part of the entire wedding was seeing Brenton tear up as his bride walked down the aisle toward him. So beautiful!!

Thank you both so much for choosing me to capture your best day ever! <3
