Daniel and Emily were married last Saturday at Reunion Ranch in Georgetown, TX. Their wedding was so beautiful and fun! Now that they are hitched, I can share some of my favorite photos of the bride in her wedding dress! I think it’s important for every bride to have a photo session just for her. She can try out her wedding hairstyle and make-up and wear that dress that she put so much time and effort into choosing for her special day! Not to mention, I love photographing bridals because it’s a great opportunity to catch those special details and make the bride feel beautiful in her dress!

It was a perfect day at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens for Emily’s bridal session. I love her classic and elegant style with just a touch of country! We had a lot of fun posing and checking out the different “homes of Texas” and enjoying the beauty of the gardens. Thanks again, Emily and Mr. and Mrs. Parma for a lovely afternoon! Congratulations again to the Brinkers! Be looking for their wedding on the blog in a few weeks!

Gorgeous!!

Stephanie and Mando were married on Saturday, so now I can finally post her beautiful bridal images! I was so glad that Stephanie found this cute little place called Bracken Village near Garden Ridge, Texas for her bridal session. This was such a fun place to check out! It was full of quirky, antique knick knacks and buildings. We had fun walking around and picking out places to photograph. Stephanie forgot her bouquet, so we improvised with some wild flowers and lace parasol! That parasol is quickly becoming my go-to prop for bridal sessions.

I was floored when Stephanie told me her aunt made her dress and veil! What a super talented woman! The lace trim of the veil matched the lace trim at the bottom of her skirts. I really gushed when I saw that Stephanie had a bow that tied at her waist in the back (I have a thing for bows!).

Thanks again, Stephanie, for letting me photograph you! I hope you and Mando are enjoying your first week as husband and wife!

Not only is my cousin GORGEOUS, she is also a gal of many talents! Eren is involved with Ned & Company, a choir group, at Nederland High School and she is also an avid soccer player! She plans to attend Lamar University in the Fall. We started the session in downtown Beaumont, exploring Crockett Street, the Mildred Building, and the Jefferson Theater. Then, we went to a local park and wrapped it up at the soccer field on Lamar campus. I had so much fun walking around downtown Beaumont and checking out all the cool buildings. It’s fun to photograph in a completely new place every once in a while!

Scott, Melissa, and Eren- thank you so much for letting me commemorate this amazing accomplishment in Eren’s life! I can’t wait to hear all of her college stories when we meet for family gatherings. I know she will excel in everything that she does! Love you all!

OMG!! All of these pictures are just beautiful !! Great photography of a beautiful girl!!

I had such a fun afternoon walking around Sam Houston State University campus with Lily and Susan. I always love visiting my home town and photographing at SHSU. Not only is it a gorgeous campus, it also brings back such wonderful memories from my time spent there. I miss it sometimes! We spent the majority of the session at SHSU near Austin Hall and the clock tower, then we took most of the action shots on the rooftop of the parking garage, and finally we raced against the setting sun to Eastham Thomason Park! We were literally shooting in the dark at the park, but I’m glad we got one good shot in the bluebonnets! No spring photo session is complete in Texas without some bluebonnets, haha!

Lily is such a kind and sweet girl! She was up for some of my crazy suggestions and she was super patient with me when I asked her to do some of her dance moves over and over again (on concrete!). Congratulations, Lily! You are so talented and I have no doubt that you will flourish in your future endeavors! Thank you for letting me photograph you!

Love the blue bonnetts and her uniform goes perfect together….Beautiful pic!!!!

It’s hard to imagine that just a little less than a year ago I was photographing this tiny newborn, fresh and new in her mom and dad’s arms. Now, here she is! Almost a toddler! We met really early in the morning at the Eastham-Thomason Park in Huntsville. It was extremely chilly but Arwen didn’t seem to mind one bit! She was all smiles for the entire session! What a doll!

Happy first birthday to this little Wonder Woman! Thanks for letting me photograph this special milestone, friends!
