Not only is my cousin GORGEOUS, she is also a gal of many talents! Eren is involved with Ned & Company, a choir group, at Nederland High School and she is also an avid soccer player! She plans to attend Lamar University in the Fall. We started the session in downtown Beaumont, exploring Crockett Street, the Mildred Building, and the Jefferson Theater. Then, we went to a local park and wrapped it up at the soccer field on Lamar campus. I had so much fun walking around downtown Beaumont and checking out all the cool buildings. It’s fun to photograph in a completely new place every once in a while!

Scott, Melissa, and Eren- thank you so much for letting me commemorate this amazing accomplishment in Eren’s life! I can’t wait to hear all of her college stories when we meet for family gatherings. I know she will excel in everything that she does! Love you all!

OMG!! All of these pictures are just beautiful !! Great photography of a beautiful girl!!

I had such a fun afternoon walking around Sam Houston State University campus with Lily and Susan. I always love visiting my home town and photographing at SHSU. Not only is it a gorgeous campus, it also brings back such wonderful memories from my time spent there. I miss it sometimes! We spent the majority of the session at SHSU near Austin Hall and the clock tower, then we took most of the action shots on the rooftop of the parking garage, and finally we raced against the setting sun to Eastham Thomason Park! We were literally shooting in the dark at the park, but I’m glad we got one good shot in the bluebonnets! No spring photo session is complete in Texas without some bluebonnets, haha!

Lily is such a kind and sweet girl! She was up for some of my crazy suggestions and she was super patient with me when I asked her to do some of her dance moves over and over again (on concrete!). Congratulations, Lily! You are so talented and I have no doubt that you will flourish in your future endeavors! Thank you for letting me photograph you!

Love the blue bonnetts and her uniform goes perfect together….Beautiful pic!!!!

It’s hard to imagine that just a little less than a year ago I was photographing this tiny newborn, fresh and new in her mom and dad’s arms. Now, here she is! Almost a toddler! We met really early in the morning at the Eastham-Thomason Park in Huntsville. It was extremely chilly but Arwen didn’t seem to mind one bit! She was all smiles for the entire session! What a doll!

Happy first birthday to this little Wonder Woman! Thanks for letting me photograph this special milestone, friends!

Brooks is the most adorable little boy! I couldn’t get over his cute curly wisps of hair and pouty lips. Griffin, his big brother, is pretty handsome himself! I kept telling Pam and Ben over and over how amazing Griffin’s blue eyes are! This family is so sweet and wonderful. Thank you for choosing me to capture the newest member of your family!

This amazing painting over Ben and Pam’s bed was done by a member of their family!

After grandpa sneezed, we all had to fake sneeze to get laughs and smiles out of Griffin! Haha! I think Brooks liked it too!

This is the same football outfit that Griffin wore during his newborn session. 🙂

Pam graduated from Baylor and I was so excited about Griffin’s personal Baylor jersey sporting the “Big Brother” title!

Pam had this adorable bear hat, too! For the Baylor Bears, of course. 😉

I was so saddened to hear that Ben lost his father last year. He asked for a special image of Brooks with his shirt supporting his dad’s business. Like Ben said, “These boys will know where they came from!”

By the end of the session, I think Griffin finally warmed up to me and the camera!

What wonderful photos! Well done….

First of all-  grab your pen and paper gents and take some notes on Daniel. He was such a natural with the poses! Plus, he had no problem showing how much in love he is with Emily. That is truly saying a lot for the men! (since we all know it was the gal’s idea to do these silly engagement photos, right? lol)

We started the session at Landa Library in downtown San Antonio, then wrapped it up at Brackenridge Park near the San Antonio Zoo. It was SUPER crowded at both locations, but these two had no trouble making it seem like it was just the two of them everywhere we went. We spent a good amount of time trying to find a parking spot and navigating our way around groups of people. It was probably because it was the first day in a long time that felt like spring! I told Emily she lucked out because she really wanted a country, summer themed engagement shoot and was willing to brave the spaghetti strap dress in the cold! Good thing she didn’t have to!

These two were so sweet and funny! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in June. Thanks again, Emily and Daniel for being patient with me and spending a fun afternoon in San Antonio!
