It was a rainy day for Danell’s bridal portraits, but we made the most of it! I absolutely loved her gorgeous lace dress; so elegant!

I was really excited when my favorite high school Ag teacher asked me to photograph her wedding. Miss Woolery…I mean Danell, helped to develop my interest in horse judging. We traveled to many competitions over the years and I enjoyed being her student! Brad and Danell wanted country, rustic, fun and romantic images. So, we took a little drive to riverside to find some railroad tracks, then we spent most of our time at the Butler Ranch on FM 1696. Thanks again to the Butlers for accommodating us! Congratulations Danell and Brad!

I had the amazing opportunity to meet this sweet girl in college. We were fellow Equine Science minors and had many classes together. Julia is such an inspirational and hard working woman. I know she will succeed in anything she decides to pursue. I was so excited when she asked me to take a couple shots of her and Justin! They are a couple of kids at heart and wanted that to show through in their photos. We started the session at Kate Barr Ross Park in Huntsville, then found some train tracks in Riverside, and wrapped it up at this cool old bridge in Trinity/Riverside. We had quite a few honks, haha! I was recently notified that Justin and Julia are planning to tie the knot in January of 2015, so be on the lookout for their wedding!

We had quite an adventure on Brandon and Susan’s wedding day!  The weather was perfect throughout the day and the sun stuck around until right as Brandon and Susan said their vows. We all made a bee-line for the reception tent, however, when it rains it pours. The pasture was flooded almost immediately and there was no power. We made it work and thanks to my Nikon SB-910 speed light, we had perfect lighting under the tent! Rain or shine, Brandon and Susan had a fabulous ceremony and reception! They were wed on October 12, 2013.

Susan had gorgeous bridesmaid bouquets that I had never seen before! They were small birdcages filled with colorful flowers that matched each bridesmaid’s headband. How neat is that??

We spent the entire Bridal session at Susan and Brandon’s ceremony site out at Doug Bell Road. It was a perfect set up with an old barn, cattle pens and hay bales!
