It was a “picture perfect” day for Dixie’s senior session! We started out on campus at Sam Houston State University, then spent some time around Sam Houston’s house, took a little visit to the indoor arena to play with Georgia, and finally, spent some time in a field of bluebonnets. The most comic moment of the session was probably when Georgia decided she didn’t want to take photos anymore and took off. Luckily, we rounded her up before she could get too far!

Don’t be fooled! Dixie is not graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University, but is earning her master’s in Agriculture Sciences! Congratulations, Dixie!

It was such an honor to meet Amanda and her family! We started out on campus at Sam Houston State University, then spent some time stopping traffic (literally) in the downtown Huntsville area, and finally wrapped it up at the train tracks. It was a bit windy when we first started and we had to fight the “battle of the hair”. (I know all you girls out there know what I’m talking about!) Amanda worked it perfectly!

Amanda is graduating from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She plans to carry on her education to study law. You go girl! I know you will be successful in your future endeavors!

I met with Patrick and TJ (as well as their two sweet dogs, Cochise and Daphne) for a mini session at Jones Park in Conroe, Texas! When I first started my photography adventure with my tiny Kodak, TJ was one of my first clients. It was great to see her and photograph her family.

Daphne was a pro in front of the camera! Coshise found other things way more interesting, such as the occasional jogger or squirrel. Not that I can blame him; it was a gorgeous afternoon at Jones Park. Thanks again, TJ and Patrick!

Can you guys believe this truck?! I couldn’t stop swooning over it!

Cortney and I met in college and we were both on the horse judging team. She is such a sweet and ambitious girl! We spent our time on SHSU campus by the Thomason building and then we wrapped up the session at a little field near the mall (I know, crazy right?- You never know where the best photos are!) I know you will be successful in all your future endeavors, Cortney! Congratulations again!

I met Sarah in college; we were on the horse judging team together. I was thrilled when she asked if I could photograph her family one sunny Sunday afternoon. Sarah had a canvas made for her mother and used these family photos to go along with the gift.
